ROCO Wine Cellar
Rollin and Corby Soles planted their small Wits' End Vineyard, located on the southwest slope of the Chehalem Mountains, in 2001. Two years later they produced their first vintage, four barrels of the 2003 Private Stash Pinot Noir. They were so delighted with the wine that they decided to produce two separate ROCO Pinot Noirs each vintage: the Private Stash and Willamette Valley Pinot Noir. Rollin brings more than twenty years of Oregon winemaking experience, a passion for Pinot Noir and insistence on the highest winemaking standards to this private family venture. 2003 ROCO Pinot Noir - Private Stash - VERY LIMITED QUANTITIES
The 2003 ROCO Pinot Noir is the first in a series of Pinot Noirs made exclusively from the very best, barrel select of the Soles' seven-acre Wits' End Vineyard. Only 99 cases (4 barrels) of the 2003 ROCO (Private Stash) were produced. This wine is available only through rocowines.com (and a few select retailers and restaurants). 2004 ROCO Pinot Noir - Private Stash - SOLD OUT
The '04 Private Stash (PS) is the second in a numbered series of single vineyard Pinot Noirs made exclusively from the Soles' Wits' End Vineyard. PS represents the best clones and barrel combination of each vintage. Only 100 cases (4 barrels) of the 'O4 Private Stash were produced. The Wine Spectator gave this wine a 92 score. (See review.)

2006 ROCO Pinot Noir - Private Stash - NEW RELEASE
The dark ruby color of the wine is an indication of the richness to come. A slow first inhale reveals a hint of strawberry, and then blackberry followed by the cinnamon and vanilla warmth that is typical of Wits End Vineyard. There also is an exciting interplay of deep red and black berry flavors, rich Mexican chocolate and an undertone of smokey raspberry. In the back of the mouth you get a nice hit of raspberry and a juicy finish. The texture is chunky with lasting fruit flavors. This wine will last.

2006 ROCO Willamette Valley Pinot Noir - NEW RELEASE
The deep red garnet color signals the full flavored berry essence of this wine. The nose reveals deep rich plum and cherry with an essence of cobblestone and spice. In the mouth, the texture is smooth and fills the palate with deep plum, boysenberry, and Bing cherry juiciness. In the middle of the mouth the rich fruit flavors begin to meld with a touch of spice revealing hibiscus, bergamot and vanilla. The wine is full, balanced, with firm structure and a lasting, loving finish.
